Master model to gain time in your classroom BE CREATIVE BE INNOVATIVE FLIP TO GAIN TIME – is a co-funded Erasmus+ Project, KA2 which is focused on the development and use of innovative methodologies in the classroom, such as the “Flipped Classroom”. This method is based on the transformation of traditional classes in Creative Classrooms (CCR), namely in innovative learning environments that fully embed the potential of ICT to innovate learning and teaching practices in formal, non-formal and informal settings e to create several didactic resources OER.


GAIN TIME project involves 8 Partners from 6 countries around Europe: Bulgaria, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Turkey. Thanks to a multi level partnership it develops tools to make teachers and trainers able to evaluate, transfer and validate GAIN TIME project training at local, regional, national and European level.

The main purpose of GAIN TIME project is to develop, test and implement an innovative approach for teachers focused on notably strategic use of open and flexible learning and open educational resources and better exploitation of the ICT resources. In fact, the project GAIN TIME aims to develop professional and pedagogic competences among teachers and trainers enhancing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) uptake in teaching and learning, through the support of learning and access to open educational resources (OER) in the education and training fields with the aim to combine higher levels of excellence and attractiveness with increased opportunities for all.

GAIN TIME project wants to help the teachers to revise and strengthen the professional profile and to improve the attainment of young people, particularly those at risk of early school leaving and with low basic skills, by developing a methodology especially focused on the use of ICT.


The project wants to create a new form of learning and providing education and training, with open educational resources, focus on better exploitation of the ICT potential, to help the teachers to modify teaching methodologies as the web can offer contents in a more complete, holistic, updated, simple and economic way. GAIN TIME project can take advantage of the potential of: on-line contents (to be studied at home or at work); class activities and laboratories to be customized and socialized.

Since 2014 the partners worked in close cooperation and they achieved several intellectual outputs. Among these, they created a grammar of Educational Gamesand a Compendium of 120 best practices and games on creative Classroom which has been delivered by the project consortium.Moreover, the partners worked on the handbook of “Master model to gain time in your classroom” which contain the guides to adopt a specific innovation teaching methodology through flipped classroom.
